Salt Creek Wranglers welcomes you and your family and friends to our grounds for the 2017 show season! We also welcome a new caterer, Dinner & Co. to our lunch stand to serve breakfast, lunch, and snacks—yum!
We encourage you to complete your membership application early so that the show office can process everyone’s registrations quickly. Remember, a Wranglers membership allows you access to our grounds on non-show days for practice (no paid lessons, please)--a great benefit--plus discounted office fees, paybacks, and year end awards!
VOLUNTEERING is very important to the future of Wranglers! To be eligible for 2017 year-end awards, each member will be required to volunteer 4 hours (each family membership, 8 hours). If you are busy showing, you can recruit a friend or family member to volunteer on your behalf. We need help at the show office, gates, ring steward, trail pattern setup/teardown, trail judging, trash hauling and branch pickup, and bathroom tidying EVERY SHOW and, if we can’t get these spots filled, we will have to start requiring volunteer pre-registration and will cancel shows without enough volunteers. Our board of directors stays very busy running the organization and they can’t also be expected to attend every show all day.
To help reduce the volunteer hours needed at the shows, paybacks will be paid in a lump sum at the end of the year. In addition to the volunteer requirements above, you must have a current Wranglers membership at the time points are earned.
This year, the decision to cancel a show will be made by 5 p.m. the day before. We try to have shows at our grounds whenever possible but “Plan B” locations, when available, will be advertised in advance on our website. If you are on Facebook, please Like Us for the most updated information.
